All of God’s people experience fear. Big or small, our fears can strike with varied intensity, from a jolt of adrenaline to debilitating terror. Join us to explore ways to view our fears in ways consistent with the Word of God and seek to learn right responses. We eagerly anticipate learning together to be full of faith rather than full of fear.
________
“Fighting Fear with Faith” is a Friday night and Saturday morning conference hosted by The Shepherd’s Way Biblical Counseling of Bethany United Reformed Church. We invited Reformed believers ages high school and up to come away for a short time of encouragement, instruction, fellowship and growth.
“Leading Faithfully in the Face of Fear” is our pre-conference, available to current and retired office bearers and their wives. We invite pastors, elders, deacons, and their wives on Friday at 1pm. New this year, we are pleased to offer an on-site, complimentary dinner to all our pre-conference attendees at the conclusion of the pre-conference. Join us for a delicious meal and sweet fellowship until the main conference begins.
Our conference also includes a Youth Portion, where high school students enjoy the keynote speeches and then attend unique sectionals planned especially for them.
All these are part of the “O Church, Arise!” conference series held annually at Bethany URC. Our mission is to teach the peace and comfort that comes from God’s Word and how to utilize the Word in discipling others who struggle with the trials and temptation of this sinful world.
We invite God’s people to join us for this opportunity to learn, grow and flourish in our walk together and with our glorious God.
